Meet Head Instructor, Neil Bishop

Bishop Family Martial Arts is led by head instructor Neil Bishop. Neil is a 6th degree black belt in karate and has over 30 years of martial arts experience, including 24 years of teaching experience. Neil has a passion for teaching, having personally influenced over 3000 students. He is committed to his students’ success and most satisfied when he sees his students really understand what they’re doing. Neil credits martial arts for teaching him how to dig deep and finish what he starts. Martial arts have, “taught me that whatever I want to achieve, I can do it if I don’t give up.” Neil brings this same philosophy to his teaching and instills this trait in all his students.
